Crypto withdrawals we timed
Each of these was requested with the tester's own money and timed from request until the coins arrived:
- Hype.bet: 5 min in USDT (date not recorded)
- Instant Casino: 15 min in Bitcoin (22 April 2026)
- VegaZone: 22 min in Bitcoin (22 April 2026)
One measurement does not tell you what the next withdrawal will take. Instant Casino appears in our log at both 15 minutes and 25 hours. Delays almost always sit in the casino's approval queue, not on the blockchain.
Bitcoin, Ethereum or a stablecoin?
Bitcoin is the most widely accepted: 11 of the 11 crypto casinos here take it. A confirmation can take from a few minutes to an hour when the network is busy. Ethereum (8 casinos) usually confirms faster, but its network fee moves with demand.
USDT and other stablecoins (9casinos take USDT) track the US dollar. They take away the swings in the coin's price while your money sits at the casino, and replace them with exposure to the dollar.
Getting from krónur to crypto
You buy the coins on an exchange first, then send them to the casino. That costs an exchange fee and a spread, and you pay both again on the way back. Crypto does not get you out of currency costs; it moves them from your bank to the exchange. Our step-by-step guide is in Icelandic: ISK í Bitcoin.
If you would rather skip crypto altogether, 1xBet is the only casino on our list with an Icelandic króna account, so a card deposit stays in ISK.
No licensed casino is anonymous
A licensed casino has to know who you are under anti-money-laundering rules, and it will ask at the latest when you withdraw: ID and proof of address. Identification is also what makes self-exclusion and age checks work. A site that promises otherwise is either unlicensed or will ask later.
