Grouped by operator. "Stated" is the processing time the operator publishes, quoted from our review of it. Blank cells are fields we did not record; we do not fill them in afterwards from memory.

Operator by operator

Four operators in the table produced a result worth a page of its own, either because they beat their published estimate by a wide margin or because two tests on the same brand disagreed with each other.

What the numbers show

Stated times describe one step, not the whole wait. Operators usually quote how long the payment rail takes once a withdrawal has been approved. The approval queue in front of it is where the hours go. Betsson publishes 0 to 1 hour for e-wallets; our August test took 6 hours. Neither figure is dishonest. They measure different things, and only one of them is what you experience.

Cards are not automatically the slow route. 1xBet returned a Visa withdrawal in 27 minutes. Coolbet, which publishes 1 to 5 days for cards, paid in 18 hours. Meanwhile Betsson took 4 hours by Trustly and LeoVegas 8 hours by Neteller. The payment method mattered less than the operator.

Crypto was fastest, but not by the margin the marketing suggests. Hype.bet sent 1,850 USD in USDT in about five minutes, confirmed on-chain. Instant Casino paid Bitcoin in 15 minutes. But the same Instant Casino account took 25 hours in a later test, which is the single widest gap in the table and the best argument against treating any one measurement as a promise.

How we measured

  1. A tester opens an ordinary account. The operator is not told a test is running.
  2. They deposit their own money and complete identity verification if required.
  3. They request a withdrawal and record the time.
  4. The clock stops when the money is in the account or wallet, not when the casino marks it approved.

We take commission from some of the operators listed. It does not change what gets published: the 25-hour result and the 20-hour result are both from operators we are paid by. Our full funding and testing policy is on the Icelandic site under ritstjórnarleg stefna.

What this data cannot tell you

Each row is a single withdrawal. Withdrawal speed varies with the amount, the payment method, the day of the week, whether verification is already complete and how busy the operator is. A casino that paid in 27 minutes once can take a day on your request. We publish the method and amount where we recorded them so you can judge how close a test is to your own situation, and leave the cell blank where we did not.

About this site

spilakasino.is is an Icelandic-language consumer site about online casinos. The rest of it is written in Icelandic for players in Iceland, including licence numbers checked against the Curaçao and Malta public registers and slot RTP figures taken from the game makers' own pages. This page exists in English because withdrawal times are a number, and numbers travel.

Gambling costs money and is not a way to earn it. If it is costing you more than you intended, in Iceland the helpline 1717 is free and open around the clock. Elsewhere, look up your national helpline. 18+.

Questions

How long do online casino withdrawals actually take?

In our tests the range was 5 min to 25 hr. The fastest was Hype.bet paying USDT in about five minutes, confirmed on-chain. The slowest was Instant Casino at 25 hours. Every figure is one measurement on one date, not an average.

Are card withdrawals slower than e-wallets?

Not always, and that surprised us. 1xBet paid a Visa card in 27 minutes and Coolbet in 18 hours, while Betsson took 4 hours by Trustly and LeoVegas 8 hours by Neteller in April. Card withdrawals are usually described as the slowest route, but the operator's internal approval step matters more than the payment rail.

Do casinos meet their own stated withdrawal times?

Sometimes they beat them by a wide margin. Coolbet states 1 to 5 days for cards and paid in 18 hours. Instant Casino states up to 24 hours of pending time followed by 2 to 6 days and paid a Bitcoin withdrawal in 15 minutes. Others miss: Betsson states 0 to 1 hour for e-wallets and took 6 hours in our August test. Stated times usually describe one step of the process, not the whole wait.

How were these measured?

A tester opened an ordinary account, deposited their own money, completed identity verification where required, requested a withdrawal and recorded the time until the funds arrived. No operator was told a test was running. We take commission from some of the casinos covered; it does not change what is published, and the slowest results are from operators we are paid by.

Can I reuse this data?

Yes. The table is available as a CSV under CC BY 4.0. Credit spilakasino.is and link to this page. If you need a figure we have not published, ask and we will tell you whether we measured it.
